Mel C travels around London on Lime bikes

The Spice Girls singer has revealed she "couldn't live without" the app needed to hire the e-bikes as she finds them the best way to navigate the city.

Speaking to The London Standard newspaper, Mel said: "If you live in London you need Citymapper, it's really easy to use and will get you anywhere you need to be. I'm a big lover of Lime bikes so I couldn't live without that app too."

Sporty Spice is also fond of London black cab drivers - who often praise the track When You're Gone, her 1998 duet with Bryan Adams.

The 51-year-old star explained: "Almost every black cab I jump in I have a lovely chat and the cabbie tells me how his favourite song of mine is When You're Gone, my duet with Bryan Adams."

Meanwhile, Mel lives up to her Sporty Spice nickname by owning "a ridiculous amount" of trainers - an obsession for her that dates back to the 1990s.

The Sweat hitmaker said: "I have a ridiculous amount of trainers, an obsession that started in the 1990s. My go-to is Nike Air Max 90s - I have them in so many colours as I love to coordinate."

Mel revealed last year that she played "boy Bingo" on a dating app before finding love with her boyfriend Chris Dingwall.

The Spice Girl - full name Melanie Chisholm - went public with her relationship with Australian model and actor Chris in 2024 and revealed how the pair met on celebrity dating app Raya after her female friends encouraged her to look for romance online.

Mel - who has daughter Scarlett, 16, with her former partner Thomas Starr - told the Life Uncut podcast: "Nobody knows this but we actually met on Raya ... Yeah, it can work people!

"I don't know how much I should divulge. I was in a relationship previously and you know sometimes you get to the end of a relationship and first of all, you're like: 'I never want to meet anyone ever again and that's it. It's just me and my girl [Scarlett] and that's it. It's us against the world', which it still is.

"But then you get to this point and it's usually on a drunken night out with female friends and it's like: 'You gotta get back out there! You gotta start dating!'

"So that's when the Raya profile was set up."
