    Job done for top seed Ben Shelton in his second round match on a gloomy and humid day three at the ASB tennis Classic in Auckland


    Shelton, handed a first round bye along with the other top-four seeds for the tournament, denied Francisco Comesana of Argentina 7-5 6-4.

    A set-point opportunity missed by his opponent at 5-4 was pounced on by Shelton who gained the crucial break of serve in the next game.

    Shelton is relatively pleased with his performance.



    Alejandro Tabilo and Italian fourth seed Luciano Darderi are locked at a set all.
