Almost 99 percent gave the green light to receiving the tax free 3.2 billion dollar capital return from the sale to French company Lactalis .

Farmers should get an average 360-thousand dollars each - about two dollars a share.

Fonterra expects to wrap up the sale by the end of next month, and pay shareholders as soon as possible.
