A Christchurch councillor says he wants to take a look at the city's dog bylaw after an attack yesterday afternoon

Three people were injured in the attack on Bevin Street in Bryndwr and two dogs were impounded.

It follows the death of a 62-year-old woman by three dogs at a Kaihu property earlier this week.

Fendalton Ward Councillor David Cartwright says he will ask staff about current bylaws.
