Kelly Brook had “severe anxiety” at the start of lockdown

The 40-year-old model worried she had contracted coronavirus and was concerned about what was going to happen when the UK shut down to slow the spread of the disease in March, but she gradually forced herself to relax and “embrace” being at home with her partner Jeremy Parisi

She told OK! magazine: "I'm not going to lie, I had severe anxiety at the start. I didn't know if I had coronavirus because I couldn't breathe. I didn't know what was going on.

"And living in London, it was a big hot spot. So I had all these fears and all that anxiety about the unknown and what was going to happen.

"I just had to go into the kitchen and have a cup of tea, relax, and just breathe it away.

"But that passed over time and I just embraced the home life with Jeremy."

While the couple got on well being confined to their home together, Jeremy occasionally had to slip out for some breathing space.

Kelly said: "We actually got on quite well, although my neighbour did find Jeremy on a park bench at the end of the road one day and was like, 'Why are you here?' You've got a garden...' And Jeremy was like, 'I just needed to get out!' He was having a bit of a breather."

The brunette beauty admitted she put on weight while staying at home but has now reintroduced exercise into her daily routine as she’s seeing people again.

She said: “I definitely did put on weight! And then when I had to start going into the [Heart radio] office again, I thought, 'I need to start training more.'

“I bought a rebounder, so I've been doing that a bit instead of running as it's good exercise and I've just been walking the dog.”
