    The man charged with murdering a 16-year-old girl in south Auckland last weekend has made a brief appearance in the Manukau District Court


    The 23-year-old was granted interim name suppression and will reappear next month.

    The teenager's body was found in Manurewa on Saturday afternoon.

    Her identity hasn't been released because her family have filed an interim name suppression application with the Coroner's office.
