Dairy farmers think they could face Covid-19 requirements when milk's picked up in the future

    Fonterra

Fonterra's consulting its employees about whether to introduce a vaccine mandate for all staff around the country.

Federated Farmers dairy chair Wayne Langford says dairy farmers aren't classed as employees so aren't included yet.

He says supply conditions and whether milk's picked up is something that will have to be looked at down the track.

Wayne Langford doesn't think dairy farmers will have to be vaccinated but things could change on farms as Covid-19 evolves.

He says most of them have been jabbed but some have big concerns.
