We can expect more trade opportunities from China, despite their economy slowing

We can expect more trade opportunities from China, despite their economy slowing

The Government's focused on our international ties with Asia - as Christopher Luxon's returned from Singapore, Thailand and Philippines.

Trade Minister Todd McClay's also returned from China last week -- and highlights the importance of our 38-billion-dollars worth of two-way trade.

He says they've had challenges in the property sector, but their economy is expected to grow by five percent next year.

He says when the Chinese economy is doing well, it's good for New Zealand.
