    The Chief Executive of the Children's Ministry Oranga Tamariki has confirmed the final job cut tally


    Chappie Te Kani says a net 419 roles are being cut, fewer than the original proposal.

    Oranga Tamariki's disestablishing 594 roles and creating 175 new ones.

    Te Kani says he read every single piece of feedback to form his final decision.

    he says the roles cut come from the back office, and the leadership team.
