Meteorologists are picking potential for a blast of snow across parts of the country next week

The South-Island has been blessed with some warmer weather - but it could be plunged into the depths of winter once again.
MetService Meteorologist John Law says Tuesday will be the wettest time, with the greatest chance of snow.
He says South Canterbury and parts of Otago are at risk of the greatest snowfall.
Other experts say with a rare phenomenon now unfolding over Antarctica, it could spell more active weather later in August.
