Wellington midfielder Billy Proctor is ready to challenge Tasman for the Ranfurly Shield, despite his recent lack of playing minutes

Proctor has been released from the All Blacks and will feature for the Lions alongside Reuben Love.

Although the pair didn't take the field for New Zealand against South Africa, Proctor explains they're still fit to play.



The shield match kicks off in Blenheim at five past two.
