The Greens are urging the Government to put speculation around asset sales to bed

The Greens are urging the Government to put speculation around asset sales to bed

Green Party co-leader Chloe Swarbrick wants Prime Minister Christopher Luxon to stick to his word from October last year:

At the time, he said they had no plans to sell any assets.

Luxon now says they're not selling public assets this term, but are open to the conversation.

Act leader David Seymour's suggesting privatisation could be a positive way forward.

Finance Minister Nicola Willis says Treasury's found some assets that are not delivering as well as they should.
