    All Whites football coach Darren Bazeley believes his side have had the ideal preparation for the 2026 World Cup after playing their final international of the year


    New Zealand were beaten 2-nil by Ecuador in New Jersey, finishing the season with three wins, six losses and a draw.

    Bazeley says their friendlies against World Cup-level opposition have been beneficial.
