The US is ramping up its security in Louisiana, a year after a deadly terror attack

More than 800 law enforcement officials - including the National Guard - will patrol New Orleans as New Years Celebrations get underway.

It's where an ISIS-inspired, vehicle-rampage took place 12 months ago and killed 14 people.

Law Enforcement and Intelligence Analyst John Miller says authorities are fearful of a new attacker.

He says the city's festivities, and popularity could make it an attractive target.
