    A Search and Rescue operation is underway in Dunedin's mountainside, following a missing person's cry for help


    Police received a call about 9:30 this morning, from a person walking the Mackie Dackie track, in Whare Flat, who heard someone else yelling for help.

    The caller could not locate the voice, with further efforts from Police turning up empty.

    Police are after anyone else who heard the noise, or names of people who were expected around the area but haven't returned.
