    An admission this year's election will be down to the wire


    Political parties are getting campaign plans in order, now the PM's announced an November 7 election date.

    Early voting's likely to commence on October 26.

    Labour leader Chris Hipkins has spoken to Party faithful in Auckland today, taking aim at donors to the Coalition.

    He's admitting no hesitation, saying they're realistic the election will be tough, but insists his Party will win.
