Kerry Katona is "absolutely devastated" for Victoria Beckham following her son Brooklyn Peltz Beckham's bombshell statement, in which he slammed his family

The Atomic Kitten star, 45, would be "heartbroken" if one of her five children took aim at her on social media, admitting Brooklyn went for "the jugular" with his six-page Instagram post last week.

Kerry wrote in her new! magazine column: "I am absolutely devastated for Victoria Beckham after Brooklyn shared his bombshell statement.

"All I can think of is being the mum in that situation.

"I'd be heartbroken if one of my children turned on me like that so publicly.

"David and Victoria have said nothing directly but Brooklyn has gone for the jugular."

Part of Brooklyn's statement saw him insist he does "not want to reconcile" with his family due to their relationship with his wife Nicola Peltz Beckham,

Some have criticised Nicola over the situation, but Kerry - who has daughters Molly, 24, and Lilly-Sue, 22, with first husband Brian McFadden, kids Heidi, 18, and Max, 17, with second husband Mark Croft, and 11-year-old daughter DJ, with her late third husband, George Kay - insists Brooklyn is to "blame".

She added: "I'm not blaming Nicola, I'm blaming Brooklyn. He's a grown man.

"I don't know how you come back from that, which is so sad, as it's clear how much David and Victoria love their children."

Brooklyn also accused his parents, Victoria and dad Sir David Beckham, of trying to "ruin" his relationship with actress Nicola, 31, before they married in 2022, and he claimed fashion designer Victoria "hijacked my first dance with my wife" on their big day.

What's more, the aspiring chef insisted Nicola has been "consistently disrespected by my family, no matter how hard we've tried to come together as one".

Kerry's daughter Heidi spoke about the Beckhams' family feud on TV last week, and the singer was "really proud" of her offspring.

She added: "What shocks people about my kids is how they know their manners and how well they speak.

"I might be 'common as muck', but my children aren't.

"Heidi looked beautiful and was very articulate.

"She was slightly nervous beforehand, but I was nearby, and I think that helped.

"Plus, I couldn't help but do my little cameo at the end - with no make-up and my pyjamas on."
