    Lindsey Vonn is drawing on previous hardship as she prepares to compete at a final Winter Olympics with a torn anterior cruciate ligament in her left knee


    The 41-year-old American skier has revealed she suffered the injury during a competition in Switzerland last weekend.

    Vonn says she's competed and excelled while carrying an injury, in the past.



    Vonn's first event is the downhill discipline on Monday morning New Zealand time, in which she won gold at the 2010 Games.
