Auckland ferry company Fullers says Waiheke services will cost more because they're increasing the number of trips

Fares are rising five percent next month.

Fullers CEO Mike Horne says its important to keep up with the lift in passenger numbers over summer.

He says Fullers has assessed all options to align fare prices to higher operational costs - while providing a frequent timetable for peak commuter times.
