    The teen murderer who absconded from a South Auckland youth justice facility is due in the Manukau District Court today


    In February last year, Haami Hanara was sentenced to life imprisonment for murdering 40-year-old Flaxmere man, Kelly Donner.

    Hanara is facing a charge of escaping from lawful custody.

    He was found by Police yesterday afternoon in Wiri, and was nabbed following a short foot pursuit.

    Police are still looking for 17-year-old Sean Ratu, who absconded from the facility with Hanara.
