Police have located a man, who disappeared from Middlemore Hospital with a gunshot wound

Police have located a man, who disappeared from Middlemore Hospital with a gunshot wound

A police spokesman has confirmed Tony Moses was arrested at a Manurewa address on Friday -- two weeks after he left the hospital while still in urgent need of medical attention.

He did so of his own accord, but had warrants out for his arrest.

Police say he has received medical treatment and is scheduled to appear in the North Shore District Court later this week on charges relating to other matters.

Convicted murderer Katrina Epiha was also arrested on Friday, after escaping police custody at the same hospital just a few days before Moses.
