Hilary Duff has been “exposed to” coronavirus

The 33-year-old actress - who is currently pregnant with her third child - has taken to Instagram to reveal she’s having to quarantine away from her loved ones for 14 days, after she was recently exposed to Covid-19

Alongside a picture of herself looking fed up, she wrote: "Exposed to covid

    “Quarantine day 2 Fml (sic)”

Hilary had been filming the seventh season of her hit TV series ‘Younger’ in New York most recently, but it’s not known where the star came into contact with the illness.

The actress also didn’t reveal whether she has had a test for the virus, and therefore it’s not known if she has Covid-19 herself.

Meanwhile, Hilary revealed she was expecting her third child in October, by posting a sweet video of her growing baby bump on Instagram.

The former ‘Lizzie McGuire' star - who already has Luca, eight, with ex-husband Mike Comrie and Banks, 23 months, with current husband Matthew Koma - wrote: "We are growing!!! Mostly me ... (sic)”

Hilary gave birth to her first child when she was 24 and she initially found the experience to be quite "isolating".

However, she also admitted that she'd always dreamed of having children.

The actress - who married Matthew in an intimate backyard ceremony in 2019 - previously shared: "I'd say it was a little isolating in the beginning because I didn't have any friends that had babies yet. But I had been working for such a long time that it felt like a natural step for me and I always knew I wanted to be a mom.

"I always knew that was going to be my number one priority in life. So I felt ready on some fronts and a little scared on others, but I really only got scared once I was pregnant."

Hilary has always been open about her experience of pregnancy and although she admits motherhood is challenging, she also relishes it.

She said: "It's just this is what it is. It's messy and it's the best messiest thing ever."
