    Cyclist George Bennett's been inadvertently caught up in an accident that took former winner Richie Porte out on stage one of the Paris-Nice classic


    Another rider dropped his water bottle which hit Bennett, forcing him off-line and into Porte whose front wheel slipped out.

    Porte tried to carry on racing but pulled out and is set to have an X-ray and MRI scan on an injured pelvis.

    Sam Bennett sprinted to victory, with domestique Patrick Bevin 30th and Bennett eventually trekked home in 56th.
