American Danielle Collins has fought back from a set down to advance to the Australian tennis Open quarter finals.

She's beaten Belgium's Elise Mertens 4-6, 6-4, 6-4 in their fourth round clash.

Collins will meet either 14th seed Simona Halep or French veteran Alize Cornet in the quarter final.

The Kansas City Chiefs have advanced to the NFL's AFC conference final in dramatic fashion after toppling the Buffalo Bills 42-36 in an overtime classic.

The Northern Brave require 168 runs to win in their final round robin Super Smash match against Wellington in the capital.
