Kiwi Property Group has announced a14 percent rise in bottom-line profit, partly due to an expansion of the Auckland shopping centre and revaluations.

It's announced last year's 196.5 million dollars net profit rose to 224.3 million for the year to March 31.

The company also cited its deal with Ikea - which plans to open beside Sylvia Park.

The Group says it's struck a deal with the European giant to sell 3.2 hectares of land on Te Ahoterangi Rise.
