Getting vaccinated for Covid-19 while pregnant is two for the price of one

Getting vaccinated for Covid-19 while pregnant is two for the price of one

New research from the US has found that two doses given to the mother-to-be results in a reduced risk of hospitalisations of their babies up until six months old.

The risk was reduced by 80 percent during Delta and by 38 percent during Omicron.

This also includes critical illnesses caused by Covid during pregnancy.
