    An alleged assault at a Wellington strip club has landed one woman before the courts


    A 26-year-old woman was taken into custody and charged with wounding with intent to injure after an incident at The Mermaid strip club on Courtenay Place in the early hours of yesterday morning.

    Police say another woman was treated at the scene for minor injuries.
