White Ferns opener Georgia Plimmer is feeling gutted at the timing of her injury

White Ferns opener Georgia Plimmer is feeling gutted at the timing of her injury

The 20-year-old suffered a bone stress reaction in her groin during the side's ODI series in India, ruling her out for the rest of the year.

Plimmer says knowing she'd miss a good chunk of the upcoming home summer was the hardest pill to swallow.

The England cricket team's suffered an injury blow just three days out from the first test against New Zealand in Christchurch - uncapped wicketkeeper Jordan Cox has been ruled out of the entire series with a fractured thumb.
