The world's most lucrative T20 competition has been rejigged to finish on June 3 due to a delay because of the conflict in Kashmir - the WTC showpiece between South Africa and Australia starts at Lord's on June 11.
South Africa's no-objection certificates only extend to May 25, the competition's original finishing date.
Australia's are more flexible, with the onus going on the players.
South Africa have eight players from their test squad playing in the IPL, Australia have five.
