Kelsey Parker thinks her children will struggle when her new baby calls Will Lindsay "dad"

The 34-year-old star - who has Aurelia, five, and tour-year-old Bodhi with late husband Tom Parker - admitted she has been getting "emotional" about some aspects of her and Will expecting a child together, three years after The Wanted singer Tom died of a brain tumour

She told new! magazine: "Something that's making me emotional is that the baby's going to call Will 'dad' one day and I think that's going to be hard for them to navigate.

"They don't call Will 'dad' but I don't know how that's going to change when the baby's her. It might be strange for them.

"I have spoken to them about it and they kind of understand, but talking about it and it happening are very different things."

However, Kelsey pointed out that her and Tom's kids still have a "close" bond with Will.

She added: "They are so close with Will. He went away for the weekend and they rang him every day and were like, 'When are you coming back?'

"I think it's because they've lost someone, too, as other children probably wouldn't be like that with a new father figure in their life."

When it comes to the new arrival Kelsey revealed her children are "so excited" to have a new baby around.

She said: "Dolly, my god, as become the baby - Aurelia is carrying her around everywhere, saying she's practising. I think she thinks she's going to be carrying the baby all the time!

"Bodhi is excited to be a big brother, too, because he's always been the youngest. I think they'll both be quite protective with the baby."

For Kelsey, her "only nerves" are about how the baby will fit into their "family life".

She added: "They're going to need to be ready to come on the school run early in the morning.

"One of the other mums at Aurelia's school was back at swimming lessons a week after giving birth. I feel like that's going to be me."
