    Warnings the country's approach to mental health, sacrifices those struggling with severe disorders


    The latest New Zealand Medical Journal editorial claims there is little evidence a 2019 integrated primary services investment, has reduced specialist service demand.

    Author, consultant psychiatrist Matthew Tennant says the Ministry of Health's strategy, prioritises those with mild and moderate mental issues.

    He says while everyone deserves treatment and support, taking it away from the most severe cases is unjust
