Kelly Osbourne is "devastated" following the death of her make-up artist pal Jasen Kaplan

The 46-year-old Finding Prince Charming star and make-up artist recently passed away in New York and his close friend and former client Kelly is shocked and saddened by the news.

She wrote on Instagram Stories: "I'm devastated. I love you so much @jasenkaplan, thank you for all the love, laughter and joy you brought my life. I hope you are at peace now. Life with never be the same without you! Rip my dear friend!

"I will forever miss our late night FaceTimes.

"You were the best wingman a girl could ask for. 25 years of friendship and every second was worth it."

A representative for the New York Police Department told Page Six that Kaplan's death is under investigation, and an autopsy will be performed to determine his official cause of death.

A friend told PageSix: "He was a great artist, and a sweet guy. When people started working with him, they often stayed with him for years."

Another source added: "He really was important to a lot of people. Some of his clients had been with him more than 20 years. They're going to take it very hard."

Jasen's death is the latest blow for Kelly, who lost her beloved father Ozzy Osbourne last July.

The Black Sabbath rocker, 76, died of cardiac arrest and also suffered from coronary artery disease and Parkinson's disease.

In a statement confirming his death, the Osbourne family said: "It is with more sadness than mere words can convey that we have to report that our beloved Ozzy Osbourne has passed away this morning. He was with his family and surrounded by love. We ask everyone to respect our family privacy at this time."
