Concern Government health sector cuts leave us vulnerable to data breaches

Concern Government health sector cuts leave us vulnerable to data breaches

Privately owned GP portal - Manage My Health - was hacked over the New Year, compromising data of more than 100-thousand users.

The first affected Practices have been notified.

Public Service Association's Fleur Fitzsimons says similar situations could easily crop up again.

She says they're concerned the systems to protect patient data aren't up to scratch and this Government's made it worse.
