The Public Service Association's laid a complaint with the IPCA - claiming police didn't respond to mental health workers claiming they'd been assaulted

The Public Service Association's laid a complaint with the IPCA - claiming police didn't respond to mental health workers claiming they'd been assaulted

PSA boss Fleur Fitzsimons says the workers called 111 three times in 90 minutes - but police didn't arrive.

She says she's worried the lack of response is a result of policy changes for Police not to respond to mental health callouts - unless there's a safety risk.

But Police say the victims had left the property and were out of danger when they called.

Police say they later investigated and charged a man with assault.
