Students are being reminded not to be too harsh on themselves, as NCEA results come out

Students are being reminded not to be too harsh on themselves, as NCEA results come out

Provisional figures show 72 percent of Year 11 students passed Level One - up one percent on 2024.

Achievement at Level Two fell slightly, gained by just under 73 percent of Year Twelves.

Less than half of Year 13 students, achieved University Entrance.

Secondary Principals Association Chair Steve McCracken, says one exam result doesn't define who a student is.

He says there will be opportunities for students to retake some standards.
