    A word of caution as calls grow to fund weight-management drugs


    Pharmac has received two applications to fund Wegovy or semaglutide .

    One-in-three Kiwis over 15 are classified obese

    Otago University medicine professor Jim Mann says taking a drug is one thing, but people must also be prepared to change their diet.

    He says unless someone taking a medicine changes their eating habits, they'll regain the weight back fast once they come off it.
