    A person has died and another has moderate injuries after a single-vehicle crash in the Kaipara District's Paparoa overnight

    A person has died and another has moderate injuries after a single-vehicle crash in the Kaipara District's Paparoa overnight


    Emergency services were called to the intersection of Paparoa Valley and Franklin Roads just after midnight after a vehicle went down a bank into a stream.

    Despite CPR by a member of the public before emergency services arrived, the person died at the scene.

    The scene was cleared around 6:30 this morning - and the Serious Crash Unit's investigating.
