    Countdown is recalling Woolworths branded almonds - which have unacceptable levels of aflatoxin


    Levels are too high in the supermarket's 225 gram packets of Crunchy Natural Almond Snackpots - with a best before date of January 2, 2020.

    Aflatoxins are produced by moulds that grow on food produced in hot climates - and can be bad for you if eaten continuously.

    The product's been sold in Countdowns nationwide between June 30 and August 6.
