The New Zealand Super Fund has been named as an investor in a Southland farm where shocking conditions have been exposed

The New Zealand Super Fund has been named as an investor in a Southland farm where shocking conditions have been exposed

Video shared by environmentalist Geoff Reid shows a paddock on the farm turned entirely to mud, where cows have just calved and a calf collection is underway.

Workers can be seen picking calves up by their legs, and throwing them into a trailer.. as well as punching and kicking the animals on the ground.

The Super Fund's farm investment manager FarmRight has immediately started an investigation, and asked a vet to review the farm's overall practices.
