    Trouble at Fonterra, but not of the financial kind this time

    Emergency services responded to reports of a chlorine leak at at the co-op's Edendale site in Southland this morning.

    In a separate incident last night a person was taken to hospital after an electrical fire broke out in the Fonterra factory in Kauri, north of Whangarei.

    A Fonterra spokeswoman said there were strong fumes and five workers were treated at the scene.
