Police have arrested two people in relation to a fire that caused 1.5 million dollars in damage to a school

Upper Hutt College was closed for two weeks in September because of the fire, which destroyed three classrooms.

Police say they executed search warrants in Upper Hutt and Palmerston North this week.

The two people arrested will appear in Youth Court at a later date.
