Calls for calm, as rumours circulate of a repeat student brawl

Calls for calm, as rumours circulate of a repeat student brawl

Last Friday, fights erupted between 100 youth gathered at Auckland's Mission Bay.

One person was taken to hospital after the westside-versus-southside fight, and there are talks of Round Two happening today.

Waitakere councillor Shane Henderson says he's extremely disappointed in the small minority causing trouble.

He says, as a former Kelston Boys student, he knows the school has strong values, as do the South Auckland schools.
