    The hosts dismissed New Zealand for 148, taking eight wickets on the day, before putting up 137 for four to take a 456 run lead at stumps.

    Pat Cummins was the pick of the bunch who took five for 28.

    Kiwi paceman Neil Wagner's taken two wickets in the innings, giving him six for the test match so far.

    Australia will resume on day three with Matthew Wade and Travis Head at the crease.
