Mika Vukona gets out of quarantine this afternoon and could yet race across Auckland to play for the Giants against Taranaki from 5.30.
Giants coach Mike Fitchett says it's unlikely his star player will make it in time.
Following the game the Canterbury Rams play the Auckland Huskies.
