It's hoped more old boys of Dilworth School who were victims of sexual abuse will now have the courage to come forward

Six men have been arrested and charged on a number of serious offences that allegedly occurred at the school from the 1970s to the early 2000s.

Police say there are at least 17 victims.

Male Survivor advocate Ken Clearwater says this will make it easier for others to tell their stories, as they'll now know they aren't the only ones.

He says one of the hurdles survivors of sexual abuse face, is that they feel it only happened to them.
