A few questions to answer before the Government's initiative to make free period products available for all schools, rolls out

A few questions to answer before the Government's initiative to make free period products available for all schools, rolls out

The products will be available towards the end of Term 2 for schools and kura that opt in.

Dignity NZ co-founder, Jacinta Gulasekharam , says making sure products are freely available in bathrooms or lockers without students having to ask reduces stigma.

She says there's also the question of what products are provided, as we need to support local during Covid-19, and look at prioritising Aotearoa providers.
