Superb by name ...and by nature

Police have today unveiled their new Skoda Superb patrol cars.

Three thousand will be gradually rolled out over the next five years, replacing the current Holden fleet.

The vehicles give officers more room, bigger doors to get people in and out and Perspex divisions to improve safety.

Deputy police commissioner, Jevon McSkimming, says the new cars are outstanding and are equal to, if not better, than what was previously provided.
