Farmers are excited at the prospect of converting to growing oats, but it will come down to what the yield per tonne price is

Oat milk producer Otis is pledging to give one percent of total sales towards helping farmers convert to growing oats.

Federated Farmers Arable Spokesman Colin Hurst says if they could get the price up it could be a real winner.

He says we currently hold the world record for the yield of wheat, so if we can get a similar rate for oats it could be an attractive option.
