Up to 300 Killer Beez gang members from all over New Zealand have converged on a community in South Auckland

Police check points have been set up close to the Country Inn, in Ramarama, where bikers and vehicles carrying the gang members were pulled over.

Gang members started arriving for their annual general meeting on Thursday and police told locals members were likely be in the area until Monday.

The gang's founder and president Josh Masters was among those stopped, on a quad bike.

He was left paralysed from the waist down after a shooting several years ago.

Locals say the bikers were doing burnouts around 3 this morning, and they're sick of the gang members' intimidation tactics.
