    A young woman has provided a tearful description of an inappropriate relationship a teacher had with her when she was in Year 12


    The registered South Auckland teacher appeared has been appearing before the Teachers Disciplinary Tribunal,. charged with engaging in serious misconduct in 2019.

    Open Justice reports the young woman has told the tribunal how they first bonded on school grounds over their mutual love for rock music.

    The teacher -- who has name suppression -- denied all allegations of physical contact.

    The tribunal will hear from a number of witnesses today and tomorrow.
